What to Do When Your Anger Is Out of Control
It’s disturbing to read in the news about anger run amok. Teachers, librarians, airline employees, and health care workers are targets of verbal and physical abuse, political figures are receiving death threats, security guards are being shot for enforcing COVID-19 mask policies. Anger even showed up at this year’s Academy Awards, when actor Will Smith slapped Chris Rock onstage for making a joke about his wife.
