We are seeking a full-time Clinical Therapist for our Palmdale site to provide comprehensive outpatient treatment services to children, adolescents and their families in the office and community settings.

The Child and Family Guidance Center (CFGC) has been at the forefront of the community mental health and social service movements, serving Los Angeles County, since 1962. CFGC provides innovative mental health services, prevention and early intervention programs to more than 10,000 children and families annually in the San Fernando and Antelope Valleys. The Center’s mission is to empower children and families to achieve health and well-being through innovative mental health and community programs. We envision children and families flourishing in vibrant communities. With serious emotional and/or behavioral disabilities, the families served are primarily low income, living in densely populated, high risk communities. Families often present with complex needs and are typically involved in multiple systems including child welfare, juvenile justice and /or special education. CFGC provides a continuum of quality mental healthcare, supportive social services and links to needed resources. The Center embraces a trauma-informed, family-strengthening philosophy aimed at helping clients become empowered, overcome challenges, and flourish within the community. The Center is committed to remaining responsive to the ever-changing needs of our families, developing innovative programs and training professional staff members to work in a community setting.
