Untreated mental health issues may lead to substance use, involvement in the juvenile justice system, psychiatric hospitalization and suicide.
Here at CFGC we remove barriers and meet the needs of our community.
We have a solid action plan to:
Identify children and families in our service area who have unmet mental healthcare needs.
Engage children and families in need of care through education and community-based services that promote mental health and wellness.
Provide Access to mental health services integrated with primary medical care to families who are alone and overwhelmed with the day-to-day challenges of managing impeding mental, behavioral and emotional issues.
CFGC builds resilient communities by helping families unlock their inner strength, providing mental health care, resources and community based services.
Many of these families are from underserved areas with the greatest mental health needs.
We’ve helped more than 100,000 children and their families in California: decrease school drop outs, decrease suicides, decrease substance use, and increase their ability to lead healthier, more productive lives.
By joining the #UnlockUrWell campaign, you will help us reach more than 350,000 children and families and improve their mental health.
