Director of Training

Our North Hills location provides extensive psychotherapeutic services to children through the age of 18 and their families with a specific focus on child abuse and trauma intervention. Treatment services are provided to a culturally diverse population in which physical abuse, sexual abuse, domestic violence or other trauma has taken place or where there is a risk of abuse and/or neglect. Our intervention and prevention services are offered both at the Center and at various sites throughout the community.
Individual, family, group treatment, parent education and domestic violence prevention groups are offered at various schools and head-start sites in the San Fernando Valley. In addition, services are provided at the local office of the Department of Children and Family Services. All services are provided in both English and Spanish.
Additional services include comprehensive psychodiagnostic assessment, sexual abuse evaluations, forensic evaluations, tutoring, home-based services and community outreach. The Center also has an ongoing research program with monthly research meetings. Pre and postdoctoral research projects are encouraged.
