We offer a training program at our Northridge-Balboa site for psychology students seeking a practicum experience and MFT students looking for an MFT traineeship. This placement requires a commitment of 16.5 hours per week. The training year begins the first week of September and continues until August 31. The program is designed to provide practicum students and trainees with opportunities to provide individual and family therapy, with a focus on treatment services to families in which physical and/or sexual abuse or domestic violence has taken place of where there is a risk of abuse and/or neglect.
