“I am Gilbert Munoz. I knew I wanted to be a teacher, but not once had I thought of teaching students with special needs. I approach my position at Northpoint believing that our students are capable of accepting and raising the challenges, achieving lofty goals and overcoming negative feelings they may have for themselves or others. I strive to provide each group with a quality, challenging and meaningful education. I especially enjoy hearing from former students who have graduated when they return for a visit or call to let me know what they’re doing. They show my current students that anything can be achieved.”
